Haynes is described as being \u201ctrusted\u201d and has served as Johnson\u2019s chief of staff since Johnson was&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2023\/10\/25\/rep-mike-johnson-wins-speakers-gavel-with-unanimous-republican-support\/\">voted<\/a>&nbsp;in as Speaker of House in October 2023 in a 220-209 vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cA driver backed into a parked vehicle last night around 11:40 p.m.,\u201d United States Capitol Police confirmed in a statement to Breitbart News. \u201cWe responded and arrested them for DUI.\u201dhttps:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/t\/assets\/html\/tweet-4.html#1897395468709281867<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taylor Haulsee, a spokesperson for Johnson, said Johnson was \u201caware of the encounter that occurred last night,\u201d adding that Johnson \u201chas full faith and confidence in Hayden\u2019s ability to lead the Speaker\u2019s office.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Speaker is aware of the encounter that occurred last night involving his Chief of Staff and the Capitol Police,\u201d Haulsee explained. \u201cThe Speaker has known and worked closely with Hayden for nearly a decade and trusted him to serve as his Chief of Staff for his entire tenure in Congress.
